Great for kids park day.
Ideal for packing kid's snacks and lunch for a day out at the park or zoo. Great size, you can find ice packs that fit it perfectly and the insulation keeps it cool for hours even on hot days.

Review 13,220 .... BAIT KEEPER !
PRO: 1. Great alternate fishing bait keeper. I was looking for bait keepers that cost x3 more than these. 2. Got two to start, keeping minnows in one, and shrimp in the other. 3. Will get more if these work well enough, will update at the end of summer. 4. FLIP LID, and stays attached! I hate lids that come all the way off, or have hinges that break. CON: 1. Folks who don't read the product descriptions, and realize these are tiny. 2. Yeti coolers have tainted the product field, everyone thinks that's the new standard. 3. Only two colors. Wish these came in maroon, green, orange, black, etc. OTHER: 1. BUY if you have a need for a TINY little cooler need, like fishing bait. 2. DON'T BUY if you have no need for a TINY little cooler, these are not for you.

Very Small and Nice to Have With You on the Road
We live about an hour from the grocery store, so buying chicken breasts and stuff that is perishable can be a royal PITA. We bought this and put our meats in it, go to the gas station to fill up, and buy two large cups of ice. (Actually, we get the ice for free as we have our own cup and the attendants at this location are pretty cool.) Remove the meat, dump in a cup of ice, replace the meat, dump in the remaining ice, et voila! We have a couple of hours to get home with the meat untainted by the heat. See, we drive a Jeep Wrangler, and in the hot months we take the top and doors off. Sometimes we forget to use our sedan on nice days, or when we are out rolling through the countryside in the Jeep we realize that we need to hit the grocery store. Having this little guy in the back allows us to safely get that meat home, even without AC or even shelter from direct sunlight for that hour trip to our fridge. We also use it for sandwiches and drinks for outings in the jeep with some of those blue, reusable chem pack coolers. We like this for the shopping aspect enough that we are going to get a larger one for the trunk of our car or the back of the Jeep. Nice and super inexpensive. Very handy to have with you at times. Takes up very little space. Washes out easily.

Nice cooler, keeps food cold many hours
I am very pleased with this little lunch box size cooler. I work at a summer camp and need something to keep my lunch cold even when it's sitting outside in the bus during a hot summer day. A friend has one of these in Rubbermaid brand so I started searching for one like it. I found this Coleman brand, and since it's the same size as the Rubbermaid but less expensive, I decided to try it first. I've used it one day, so I'll update this review if my opinion changes, but it did really well today. It was left on the bus for about 2 hours in 90 degree weather, and everything inside was nice and cold. The bottom layer of fit and fresh freezer packs I used to keep my food cold were still frozen, while the ones on top had thawed. I packed my lunch at 8 am and ate around 12:30, all the food was in great shape. My drink was nice and cold, whIle other people eating with me had drinks that were just cool. I was concerned at first, since the outside and top of the cooler got cool to the touch. I would be even happier with the cooler if it kept all that cold inside, but it is certainly adequate for keeping stuff cold through lunch and beyond. Since I forgot to bring a spoon, I didn't eat my yogurt until 2:30 and it was still nice and cold, then when I got off work I went grocery shopping and put a few yogurts in it to keep cold for the ride home, and the inside of the cooler was still cool at 5:30.

I want another one...
Great cooler! I always love these hard case "old fashion" coolers. I find that food stays cold longer than those made out of some other type of material. My kid uses them at a camp, so the cooler is outside in the heat all day long and the food stays cool. I have the matching water jug, also by Coleman (but purchased elsewhere) that I put water in with 4 pieces of ice. At the end of the day, when my kid brings home the jug, the water is still cold. I mention this so that you know that Coleman makes great coolers. The cooler's inside cover can be removed and flipped over to create a little lunch table to hold drinks and a sandwich. Great for the beach. Best to use the thick ice packs v. the thin ones that are being sold. I've also used ice in a Ziplock freezer baggie. Just make sure your child understands that when it starts to melt, they need to throw out the water! I'm paranoid about food poisoning so I take extra measures. You can't go wrong with this cooler. Btw, the cooler measures: 10" W X 7 1/2" D X 7" H. I also perfectly fits a six pack can of soda (8 oz. cans) with space on top. For those of you who don't know, the ice packs should go on top of the food as the cold air travels down. I put packs on the top and bottom.

Still looking for a great personal cooler
I got this to use as a lunchbox because I don't have a refrigerator at work. The soft-sided ones weren't keeping my food cool, so I thought a hard-sided cooler might provide better insulation. The jury is still out on that. I tried the Igloo 9-can cooler first, but that one was too big. Too much air that made it hard to keep things cold. So I went for this, the smallest hard sided cooler I could find. This is a very small cooler. Interior dimensions are 6.25" w x 8.5" l x 5.5" h. One of my plastic sandwich boxes is 7" on one side and has to go in this cooler on a slant. It can fit a sandwich, a snack and a canned or small bottled beverage with some room for ice. My main issue is that I need this to hold food at a safe temperature for 5 hours, possibly a bit longer, in an office environment. I first tried it with a carton of yogurt. Adding ice packs underneath, on the sides, and almost to the top, the cooler was at 40 degrees after 5 hours. Pretty good. But when I took something larger with fewer ice packs, it was at 45 degrees, outside the recommended safe zone. I have no way to know how long it was at that temperature. If you just want to keep drinks cold, or maybe some fruit that isn't going to spoil, this is fine. Bottom line for me is that I need to load it with ice packs which limits how much actual food can go in. So I'm still on the hunt for a small lunch case that will keep food fresh without a fridge.

Just fits a litre milk bottle
Both us and our milkman happy with this insulation box. A litre bottle of milk just fits in diagonally with my ice block underneath. Keeping milk cool from 00:30 to 08:00 outside even during heatwave. Maybe a little bit of extra length would have made this easier, doubt a 2 litre milk bottle would fit
