Knuckleball

I love R.A. Dickey. My son and I are both great Blue Jays baseball fans and when R.A. became a Blue Jay I bought this book for both of us to read. It is well written and recommended for anyone wanting to know about a very unusual pitch, the knuckleball, which R.A. Dickey is so famous for.

Watch this movie and gave it and The Knuckleball book to my grandchildren. We enjoyed the time together and practicing throwing knuckleballs to one another, which was very difficult for them and me.The video was very good and I recommend it to baseball fans as well as future pitchers and catchers.

Good baseball information and history.

If you love baseball this documentary is a must. Kevin Costner narrates the film and I learned a lot about the great pitchers of the past. Very interesting take on the development of pitching the fastball over the years.

Highly recommended look at one of the strangest parts of baseball. But if you step back a bit you'll see that it's about more than baseball. You don't have to know anything about baseball to enjoy it.

You would think that watching a documentary over 2 hours on the knuckleball would get tedious but it doesn't. Truly fascinating and insightful.

My 11 year old son loves this video and wants to be a MLB pitcher when he grows up.

This is a split review. If you stream it, I would rate it 2-stars. Too long and too much focus on Wakefield and Dickey. It was OK.If you buy the DVD, I would give the extras 5-stars. Loads of interviews, with the likes of Phil Niekro, Charlie Hough, Jim Bouton, opposing hitters discussion of the pitch physics, future of the pitch and tons of interesting things. The extras were much more what I was looking for.
