often better for parting steel than the thin carbide index tools
the 1/8" width cutter is too wide for some steel applications but the 3/32" can work at very slow feed for those jobs ( I have both size tools); both work well for aluminum and softer materials

Unexpected ...
I thought this was a gimmicky tool until I used it. The fact that I can change the height while on the tool holder gives me the ability to cut material that is more precise. The price is definitely good.
