I liked it had everything needed and lots extra,but wish the instructions were step by step to make it easier! It hardens clear and I bet its stronger than ever! I checked many places and Amazon's price and it had enough supplies with lots extra! After getting started worked better than expected!

DO NOT BUY!This product is so inferior to the name brand product.The adhesive is old and will not create a tight seal. The plunger is not the right length and the notches don’t allow proper suction and pressure.As you can see in my photos, this thing just left me with a mess. Learn from my mistake and just buy the name brand. You pay for what you get.

Without the help of other Amazon post-ers, I’d’ve been up a tree. My kit came with no instructions at all, and I wish I’d donned disposable gloves before even opening the ziploc bag, because the white bottles leaked and the screw-on caps cracked, so the bag was sticky and chemically redolent…and so were my paws. Nonetheless, following folks’ guidance, I was able to eradicate a ding right in the center of the driver’s side glass, which is awesome. Terrapod, I think there’s no difference between the contents of the black bottles and the white bottles: they just put four little bottles in the pack. And Ms Dee, BION, I learned about this repair method watching TV in France—the European Safelite commercial actually shows the tech repairing a windshield, the way this kit does, rather than lifting and replacing it wholesale…and that’s how I was like, well, can *I* do that then? Answer: uh, yeah!

I tried to use it. One of the resins had broken open and coated everything so it's almost useless. The "gaskets" will not adhere to the windshield. The best I can do is put resin on with one of the covers and hope it fills enough to stop it from spreading. Money well wasted I suppose.

This kit worked extremely well for two small rock chips in my son’s windshield. I followed the instructions exactly and both chips are nearly invisible! A great 10 bucks spent! Without glass coverage on his insurance this would have cost him about $75-$100 for a glass company to repair. The only complaint was the white bottle and black bottle of the repair liquid. It doesn’t mention two different bottles anywhere in the instructions. It doesn’t seem to matter though as I used one one the first chip and the other on the second and they both worked well.

This product reduced the crack a little bit but ultimately did not fix it much.

Did not work like described. Have to get entire windshield fixed.

UPDATE: This product is cheap china garbage top to bottom. No change whatsoever in the crack. Didn’t penetrate it at all. Followed the directions precisely. Watched Chrisfix YouTube video. He used a different brand that looked like it had a better resin.The hole in the syringe was sealed up from manufacturing. Had to drill it out to even attempt the fix. I’m just going to spend the cash and get it taken care of professionally.ORIGINAL: Alright everyone who was as confused as I was. I did some research and asked a few chemist friends. The WHITE bottle is 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA). It is used to help the Resin bond to surfaces.I’m about to try it on a small crack. I’m going to prep the area and add a small amount to the crack. Not sure how long to let it sit. So I’ll give it 10 minutes in the sun before I move into the fixing technique they so poorly describe. Will update review once I finish.
