A quicker, quieter, cleaner puck removal
I'm in love. The Breville 58mm Espresso Puck Sucker does exactly what is says. Some have complained about the fit not working, but if you have the 58mm Breville portafilter, this is what you need. No more banging on the counter, trash or knock box. I bought this to remove the used puck quietly and cleanly and this does that. The container is also very easy to clean up, much better that the original knock box that came with my Breville Oracle Jet. The build quality seams good and since no banging needed, should last a good while. For quicker removal of the puck, make sure you hold the portafilter level to get a better seal. Only takes a few seconds at most and you can feel when the puck is sucked out. Glad I bought it and I'd recommend to anyone that wants a quicker, quieter, cleaner experience.

Works just great with my 54mm Breville Touch Impress.
After getting the Breville Knock Box and absolutely hating it (so noisy, splats everywhere), - this came into view, and there were some concerns that my 54mm portafilter would not work with this, designed-for-58mm, device.I needn't have worried. This works just great. Just center the portafilter over the opening and press down. The vacuum does the rest. Superbly, it will pull the coffee puck out, and if you hold it there a bit longer, will pull the filter out, too, for much easier cleaning than trying to pry that thing out with some tool.Anyway, I love this thing. Quiet, speedy, painless coffee puck removal, and it works just great with my 54mm portafilter.5 out of 5. Excellent.

Nice item but only works with Breville portafilter
I hoped that it would work with non-Breville portafilters but it does not. Breville portafilter is 58mm but overall smaller than a standard professional portafilter. Mine is E61, it is too big. Why would Breville make their machines with a non standard size? Maybe so people have to buy only Breville portafilters as replacements. I hope a 3rd party takes this idea and makes one that works with standard portafilter.Otherwise it looks well made and high quality.

Love the Puck Sucker
I bought an Oracle Jet and have been using the included knock box for a couple months and decided it was time for an upgrade. To get the puck out of the portafilter with the knock box, you have to forcefully hit the knock box hard. No matter how careful you are, you end up with coffee grounds everywhere and if someone is still sleeping, forget about it.At first, the Puck Sucker, kind a sucked and not in a good way. I was ready to return it after the first couple uses because it never pulled the puck out of the portafilter. It was at the end of the hopper full of beans and I reloaded with FRESH beans and used the Puck Sucker and wow....it sucked that thing right out. It was so fast and clean I was kind of wondering what the difference was.It was the beans. The last bag I used must have been kind of old and so the puck was still wet. The new bag being fresh roasted left me with a bone dry puck. That was the difference. I knew the other beans were wet, but I thought it was my machine going bad until I started researching wet espresso puck on Google. So this Puck Sucker is definitely worth the money and if it doesn't extract the puck, get a bag of fresh beans to use. Stop buying beans from the grocery store that have been on the shelf forever.

inconsistent success
The first few days, this worked great. but now it's almost embarrassing (I'm so excited to use it when friends are around, and it undoubtedly fails) and I find myself going back to my old tap box instead of using this. I'll swap out the batteries, but honestly, I've only used it for about a month total. :-(

I'm Impressed !!!
I don't understand all the negative reviews. I've been knocking the crap out of my Oracle Touch Portafilter for the past five years. The pucks take six or seven hard slams to get them out, this Puck Suckergets them out in about two seconds no problem. If your grind and brew time is correct the only thing that comes to mind is if you are tamping your grounds maybe your tamping them with too much pressure. If your grind is correct you'll need very little pressure when tamping your coffee down. My Oracle does the tamping automatically, basically it just spins a disk to smooth the coffee out. I'm using the double walled filter and it works great.
