Just fits in my hand. Had to adjust jaw to get it to open properly, but ideal for drawing. Done some good stuff already. Not strictly anatomically perfect, but when I have examined more expensive ones, I like him more and more. Yes, we've given him a name, Nasher. Call me daft if you like. Would recommend as an artist aid.

The description is a little misleading with the scale being advertised at 1:2. At roughly 8cm high compared to an adult male skull around 28cm, it's a lot smaller than that - between 1/4 and 1/3 scale. However, it's superbly modelled, and casts detail shadows and contrast very well. It's very portable so won't take up much room.

Arrived earlier than expected. Excellent quality, with amazing detail. Perfect as a drawing aid.

Bought this for a paperweight, painted mine up as seen here for a realistic finish, but it's superbly detailed, I think it's 3D printed to a super high standard from a real skull laser scan, once painted with varnishes and so on it looks identical to the real thing, brilliant wee thing.

It's a little rough around the edges (literally) but as an drawing reference it's perfect. If you're a med student you'll probably have to dish out for more expensive life-size replicas.
