Solid
Solid 5 channel amp! Perfect amount of power for adding a simple system to a car. It has bells and whistles, like clip light, sub gain knob with clip indicator, and infrasonic filter. The size is a perfect small footprint. This it the best dollar per watt performance, per size. Only con: Considering the power, I was wondering why it didn’t have 1/0 gauge power and ground.

Teeny, tiny, powerful.
I have an old RF 25 to Life Power1000 that has a mostly similar output to this amp, however the G4000.5D is a quarter of the size, if not smaller. It's amazing how much power this tiny class D amp puts out. It may be tiny, but it is quite hefty and I love the understated matte black look. Running this with a pair of JL 10W6v2-D4 at 1 ohm and a quartet of BA speakers yielded amazing results. Very full sound from the components, subs hit hard and super easy install. The amp does get hot when pushed, but that should be expected as DS18 has packed a lot into a small space. I would have liked to have seen some larger terminals used for power and ground, but 4awg is mostly fine. This is the first amp I've installed with terminal attached RCAs and I didn't think I would like them, but it actually made the install a bit easier, so go figure.Overall, this is a solid and powerful amp. And it is small enough to install just about anywhere which makes it incredibly versatile.
