Q: how do you set the parking brake?

Either hand break has a lock button that is set while squeezing the hand break. Both hand breaks are connected to a common break that locks onto the two back wheels at one time.

Q: would this suitable work for a 6-year-old?

Probably not. I do not think the handle bars would adjust that low.

Q: How do u get it in trunk

You can lower handle by unscrewing a knob and unlatch the base of the handle so it bends toward the seat. It also fits in my back seat by only unlatching the base so the handle so it bends to the seat, so you dont have to readjust the height of the handle bars.

Q: I am 73 and helping somone injured, I would be putting scooter together. I'm nervous. Just how "easy" is it?

I did not personally put the scooter together. I purchased it for someone who needed it because the VA wouldn’t help her with one. She put it together fairly quickly from what I remember. You can always copy the name of the scooter and try to find a video of someone putting it together on YouTube or the internet. Hope that helps.
