Schools adopting such poor quality texts show me what level of education we want to impart to our children. The author has compiled facts hastily. Words are used first and explained three pages later. Often, sentences, like the part I have photographed have no use in the context... Some paragraphs start with definition and end with example...others start with example and end with definition. What's worse is that erupted publishers allow this writing to go to print and even worse, that schools should adopt this to be standard text. If we later complain why our children don't make a mark at the world level, please include this point of view as one probable cause.
