Very straightforward to install and get started. Simply peel and stick it at the location where you need this and thats it. Needed something like this for the backyard door. Works very well. It has multiple set up modes which you can set it up according to our choice. The sound is pretty loud. You can also leave it off and on according to your choice.

I just wanted something simple to warn my....ummm.... other ...... when they left the door ajar on the freezer. Two freezers to be exact and a third freezer... which was..... well.... lets just say, unaccounted for.......But a freezer left ajar, 2" or even 3" inches will incur thawing over the course of 10 hours....the whole insides.... and melted ice will turn to water and it will spill out and it will cause a river of melted ice to a puddle of.... whatever....So, besides an Apple Watch and Dinner and Flowers and a Card for my lovely wife's Birthday... I bought two of these as well.... hehehehehe....But to my surprise, these gadgets turned out expertly remarkable. I'm an ET.... Navy types know what that means..... and these sensors are a great value for the money.The continuous alarm is so loud it will exacerbate your ear drums......it's that loud...The door open function is missing the 1 minute and maybe a 2 minute timer before timeout alarm.20 seconds for me if I need to pull items out and put them back is just not enough.Remember, I'm just trying to warn against my freezer thawing out because of a door ajar.The distance between the sensor/alarm and the magnetic key is probably closer to 2CM, which is good because it takes into account the door seal and it's collapse and expansion after the door has been opened.Overall, I am 100% into this item. Great job, great price....I will do more of it.I wish they had a Z-WAVE version of this thing......I'd definitely be a buyer...

The media could not be loaded. Unlike others my instructors were in English and were very easy to follow. My fridge/freezer has a delayed open door alarm on the fridge but not on the freezer. Well it's got one now!

I wanted a door alarm for the freezer so that it doesn't get left open. This one fails on thatTriggering the general alarm is very easy which is when you wake up your family, your neighbours and the national guard. It's hilariously loud for a fridge alarm. The scramble to shut it off if somehow an object touches /bumps the wrong button and changes the mode away from fridge alarm selected is a golden moment. Then tinnitus after.Oh BTW. Not a bad door alarm if you like annoying your whole building.

We have had the deep freeze in our garage left slightly a jar twice down. By setting this device properly if we do not get the door completely closed it will start alarming and increase in volume until we tend to the issue.
