Indestructible RTR full control RC Plane for Cheap!
Ready to make the move from a trailer hi-wing to a full control low wing RC plane and dont want to break the bank with a 500$+ setup, than this is the perfect option. This is the perfect evolution for those coming off slow fly trainers with no aileron control. This introduces you to a much more in-depth flight control and allows much more flexibility and control. I will say I did learn the hard way about what I said above and went ahead and purchased a 1k plane and remote setup in a much larger scale and on my second run I stalled it and it went head first into the asphault. Not even the wires for the servos were salvageable..... So I tempered myself an went with something RTR and thats much much cheaper. Anyhow without much ado, lets get into some pros/consPros:-Very realistic styling and great paint-Practically indestructible. Have hit everything with it including myself and it still keeps flying-Offers rull control. Rudder, ailerons, flaps, speed control-IS RTR out of the box. Very minimal anything to get it ready to fly-Great battery life, getting 12 minutes or hardcore use. Would get longer on a gingerly flight-Very compact, easily leave it in car and wont take up space to break out when you want to-Controls for rectifying flight to make up for any mistakesCons:-This is not a trainer and not good for a first plane unless youve flown RC planes in the past. Its fast and nimble.-DONT USE THE PROP MOUNTED IN THE BOX. Use the 3 blade pros. The 2 blade will make the plane fly entirely too fast and be uncontrollable.-Not good in wind (only because its so small)All in all this is a great logical next step for someone thats learning to fly and already has experience with slow fly park trainers and wants to take the next step to full control with lots of power and speed. Like I said before Ive crashed this many times (always me attempted stalls, loops, stunts etc) and its never even broken a prop. The foam is crazy indestructible. For the price you are not going to get anything better with these features and durability.

Great little plane for the money 💰
The media could not be loaded. I've been flying since before the days cheap planes had gyros and let me tell you they are game changers, especially for a small light plane like this one. This is a sporty low wing plane best suited for intermediate pilots or at least more experienced beginners.Beginners should start with a simulator first. PicaSim is nice and free so maybe start there. Realflight Trainer is only around $40 or maybe free with certain planes. Once you can fly and land fairly reliably in a simulator get a nice high wing trainer. Maybe a 3 channel rather than a 4 so there is less to keep track of. Oh practice flying in wind with a simulator but fly your real plane with as little wind as possible. This brand sells several high wing planes, any of which would be better than this low wing Zero for a beginner. Getting a pusher could save your prop/motor/gearbox in the event of a hard landing.Pros:Low cost (paid around $85).Gyro stabilization is amazing.Tuff.Prop saver.Long flight time.RTF comes with everything except 4x AA cells for the TX.Fun to fly.Nice looking scale appearance.Push button rolls and loops.Small size makes it easy to transport.Low 64g weight is well below the 250g registration requirement cutoff.Cons:Battery compartment is snug so it is hard to remove the battery. The USB charger is fine but not ideal.Helpful MOD:Once the wheels snap in they are hard to remove. The plane does not fit back in the box with the wheels on, unless you punch holes in the foam to allow the wheels to straddle the TX. I love that the Zero fits back in the box now where it is protected and doesn't take up much room.Helpful hint:The plane is tiny and the wheels are tiny so they will catch on bumpy or grassy surfaces. Take the wheels off and hand launch if flying over grass. Belly land in grass.Regarding mistakes in other reviews:Whoever said this plane had full control with flaps: The ailerons are both controlled by a single shared servo (rather than each aileron having their own servo) so they cannot function as flaps or spoilers.Someone said the plane cannot take off or land? Please see my video. The plane takes off and lands fine on a smooth surface. The wheels are tiny so obviously the plane cannot takeoff from grass or a rough surface.Someone said the plane cannot roll??? It is true that aerobatics are limited (on purpose) in the gyro stabilized modes because the gyros keep the plane fairly level for you but you can always either switch to expert mode or do a one button trick from within beginner or middle mode.Someone said the throttle is not spring loaded: It is normal for the throttle to stay where you put it.

The Remote fails to connect, the motor (propeller) stopped working after 1 min flight
Maybe we got the bad one - it looks good. The Throttle is not spring loaded. The remote had difficulty synching. Was able to have a spectral r flight for 1 minute but after that it stopped working …

"Real" RC Plane
It's on the cheaper end of things, but it does have all the proper RC airplane things, or at least enough of them -- plus it's cheap-ish to get into and includes everything you need (plane, controller, batteries, and some spare parts!). Has a gyro which helps it out since it's so small and light. It basically needs no wind to fly well, any gusts are going to take it. My 11yo son has done a pretty good job of flying this.

It is Styrofoam
I was not impressed with the quality of this plane. The remote control is of better quality than the plane itself. They included two extra propellers, but they are for a different plane not the one sent. If you look at propeller on the front of the plane in the photo and look at the plastic bag in the 3rd photo with the two spare propellers, they are different sizes. The ones in the bag do not fit the plane at all. The plane had a hard time staying up. The slightest wind drops the plane to the ground. Overpriced junk!
