Just do it.
I can't recommend this product more highly. I'd been tempted by it for a while, and was wondering if it would be worth the cost, and let me tell you: it is. Like you can see it comes with everything you need: a ton of backs, pins, plastic fronts and inner plates. It also comes with the cutting board and an amazing circle cutter which is honestly magic, plus the machine itself. It becomes incredibly addictive because it is just so easy. Every now and again I will make a mistake, like putting the back on upside down, but I've learned that the image and inner plate are still salvageable, all that I'll really lose is the plastic disk.I bought it just before a comic convention I was selling at, found that I could whip out designs in about twenty minutes, print off a few sheets and cut them out pretty swiftly, and the badge making process is so fast. I can't stress that enough. I think I made about 100 buttons in one day at a leisurely pace; and people adored them. I was the bell of the ball, looking so wizardly at my table pumping out even more. I had a crowd gathered watching me in awe at one point, and was even able to take button requests there and then. The package comes with a template for the badges too, which I originally scanned in and just drew over, but eventually I made my own template in photoshop. It takes a little time to get used to what will look good and what can go wonky quickly, but once you figure it out, it's an easy and quick profit. I'll be ordering more badge pieces soon, I think.I went for the 38mm and found the badges were the perfect size, big enough to show off artwork and text, but small enough to stay away from looking bulky or clunky.Basically, if you're considering this seriously at all: treat yourself. Love yourself. Do it. You won't regret it at all.

sturdy and simple 5 star badge maker
loved the fact this feels like it can be taken to festivals, or events without worrying about it breaking.took a few goes to understand how to load parts of badges to get good outcomes especially with collage/collarge designs but we've done some great punk/queer badges that way. And feel confident in machine to volunteer to make badges at some lgbt history month eventslike the fact I can change to size by buying new dies (bought different size die for oldest son and impressed how quickly can change out size for badges). Although circle cutter would be good purchase to go with extra sizes you buy (technically you'd only need metal plate that makes it safe i believe as it looks adjustable)came with everything you need bar the image you want. Spent Christmas afternoon playing around as family making badges which was fun and got it out over holidays a lot.sturdy enough that you could use for bespoke badges as business in my opinion.learning how to load dies with parts took a bit of working out and correct pressure final part you reach point where you think its done but need to press a bit more.I was really pleased i spent a bit more and got more durable badge-maker

Only worked for one badge - returned
The first badged worked okay (ish after a bit of fiddling). Then the next three did not work at all. The back with the pin would not affix to the badge front. Tried repeatedly and followed instructions carefully. Very disappointed.

Amazing little machine.
Sturdy.Easy to use.Makes lovely badges, many other components can be bought to use with base machine.Company great to deal with.Children have loved using it under supervision.Machine will last for ever and business has been going 40+ years so hopefully an investment that will not become obsolete or be unable to source parts.

Good company
The initial press I was sent was faulty. Looked like a manufacturing fault. I contacted them directly and it was rectifide with in three days. The machine instructions are poor so would recommend watching their YouTube channel on how to operate it. The cutter is ok but would recomend creating a guide for the cutter as it's hard to align accurately otherwise.

Great badge maker, ok circle cutter.
The circle cutter has given up after the first few months. It's extremely stiff and difficult to use. The badge maker itself is excellent. The plastic for the badges however when arrived was covered in fibres and I'm still finding it hard to make the badges without dust getting caught in them.

75mm micro badge machine review
Product worked fine after learning the process properly. I had some problems with the ring cutter in the beginning - The cutting board had shattered during transfer and I used a plywood alternative. I pressed too hard and the cutter's lock pin, the cutter wheel and the spacers came off. Luckily it was easy to assemble. Also the plates were different color than in the instructions, but it's easy to see which is which piece. What the instructions said about the paper type have been correct so far: I couldn't get photo paper to bend inside the plastic cover properly. 100g xerox worked. I will try lighter matte photo paper at some point.
