Review: Absolutely Terrific Lights! - Well, there was a learning curve on my part... I started with having both, the backlit portion of these lit, in addition to the bottom portion... The batteries drained quickly, and I thought I'd constantly be replacing batteries... The lighting was PERFECT to suit our needs -- my wife and I, and our new puppy, appropriately named Joy. When, at 1:30am, Joy needs to go outside to do her business and/or my wife and I, use the bathroom... Light is fabulous, and has the perfect hue. This was really well thought out, and the motion sensor is fabulous! All I had to do was use the setting (very easy) to use only the bottom portion, and they've been terrific for over a month and a half. Rechargable solar batteries have solved multiple issues, no bill at the store for replacements, and impeccable lighting. Off grid, entirely. We rarely (once a month, maybe), turn on any kind of hard-wired power light. Zero expense! These are terrific! The only issue I've had is that one of them had the internal components (electrodes) solder incorrectly, rendering that particular light useless. The seller actually reimbursed the purchase, which they didn't have to do... I merely wanted a replacement. I'd recommend these to anyone looking to use these things in such a capacity. They're accordingly perfect! I'll be buying more for several areas. Fabulous product, when you use a little common sense and realize that they have engineered these to work as they do for a reason. Review: Perfect Motion Lights! - We chose warm white and they are lovely at night. They come on when they sense motion and then slowly fade when movement is no longer detected. We placed them strategically near our steps and we love the way they look. They are small and discreet, but shed the right amount of light on the steps. I liked them so much I ordered another set for a second set of stairs in our home. They would also be perfect as a night light above a bedroom or bathroom door. I might have to order another set!

**Q: How long do batteries last?**
A: 3 AAA alkaline batteries last about 3-4 months at medium brightness with one source on. More triggers, dual-on, or higher brightness drain faster. Use quality alkaline batteries.

**Q: How to install?**
A: Peel liner, press onto clean, dry, smooth surface for 30 seconds. Then lift off, insert 3 AAA batteries (sold separately), and snap back on. To change batteries later, lift off — base stays on wall

**Q: Bright enough for stairs?**
A: Up to 10 lumens at maximum brightness — bright enough to clearly illuminate your path on stairs, in hallways, or inside closets. It's intentionally designed to be a gentle, sleep-friendly glow rather than a blinding task light.

**Q: Will it turn off by itself?**
A: Yes. The motion sensor detects when you leave — the light automatically turns off 15 seconds after no movement is detected. It also stays off during daytime thanks to the built-in light sensor. No switches to remember, no wasted battery.

**Q: What batteries does it take?**
A: 3 AAA (sold separately). 1.5V alkaline work best. 1.2V rechargeable NiMH work but dimmer. Do not mix battery types — mixing can damage the light and cause other problems.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ MAGIC on a boat!

I bought these because there were moments on our livaboard boat that me and my hubby would miss a step because it was SO dark at night. It was painful. Wasn’t expecting much, but hoped it would provide a lighted path at night. These little lights are AWESOME! You can set them up to light somewhat specific areas or a more general space, too. Plus, you can adjust the brightness! I LOVE that I can see where I’m going in the middle of the night without needing to light the whole boat, no light switches needed and the lights I’ve got in the galley/kitchen are bright enough to handle refilling a drink or light food prep while the ones in the quarters/bedroom are dim enough not to wake the hubby while me or the dog move around. We have not had any missed steps since installation and they have made nighttime movements not only safer, but easier. I ordered another four to add to the heads/bathrooms and they have been extremely helpful as well. They would be awesome in closets, cabinets, toolboxes, under kitchen cabinets, OMG! camping, indoor stairways (why I got them), etc. too. I also bought some rechargeable batteries just in case, but so far, the lifespan on regular batteries has been impressive. Heck, I’ve thought about tossing one in my purse to light up the contents when it’s dark! These things are wonderful little pucks of light and oh so helpful on a boat (inside-not weatherproof) plus, no extra electricity drain beyond the AAA batteries. If you have a boat, even a little cuddy-cabin or a center console with a hideaway head, get some to light up those places you can’t quite see when it’s dark. Bigger boat? Get more. Your life will be much better. On land, possibilities are endless. Great lights!
