The handles are comfortable and the bottoms don't hurt carpet underneath. They aren't too heavy to move around but are completely stable. They allow me to vary the angle to exercised different back and arm muscles without hurting my wrists.

The bars are good quality. They are stable on tile floor due to the rubberized patches on the bottom and the dimensions of the bars. The handles are a bit on the larger side, so more for medium/large/x-large hands. They may be uncomfortable for small hands due to the circumference of the handle. The material is rubberized and not hard as some reviews stated, maybe the hard plastic were an older design. I would like to caution people to gradually increase your workout, depending on your fitness level. I'm used to pushups, but I think due to the increased range of motion I overused the extensor muscles in my right forearm, causing me pain. I also tried to increase my grip strength by squeezing the handles while doing pushups, which compounded the stress on the forearm muscles in addition to the increased range of motion. So please be careful and gradually increase your workout. Slow and easy is better in the long run than being overly aggressive.

The base is wider than others I've used, which makes them more stable. Everyone who tried them at my gym seen to prefer them over the older ones we had. The grip is just soft enough to make it comfortable on the hand.

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my husband who was experiencing discomfort in his wrists while doing pushups and planks. He says these are wonderful for him. They are solid, light enough to move as he changes positions mid exercise and they don't slip. He tells me, this was his favorite gift because they help him so much.

These are a great buy. The padding is comfortable. Im close to 300 lbs and holds up well. The padding underneath also adds grip so the bars don't slide. I have a wrist injury and use these to continue push ups without aggravating the wrists.

These push up bars are a great addition to a home gym. The bars are light weight plastic with a soft, grippy handle and have a wide base to ensure you will not tip if off balance. I stick them in my gym bag and hardly notice their weight or capacity in my bag. The Bonus is they come with a NY Mets' orange color for the handle ... come on now ...
