DTI Stand Magnetic Base

This is a great value Magnetic DTI stand for the money. works well and highly adjustable. Strong Magnetic pullrustproofed components. This can be used for centering work on the lathe , comparator set up for large scale inspection work and in many other alignment set ups. Can be used with ANY make of test indicator.excellent for professional and amateur alike.

For the price this is a weighty and robust stand. The magnetic base is powerful and the range of movement is comprehensive.

Overall it's a good stand, but not ideal for a dial test indicator as the final joint provides a bit of flex which can interfere with measurements

Used this with a dial gauge to check brake disc run out.Easy to set up and very steady when dial gauge fitted

This is one of the better of the cheap tool holders. Fine adjustment which is worth the extra, and the magnet is ok and I have not had to mill the base, unlike other bases!

Once set up, seems to provide a pretty stable base for DTI. Have sent for a 6mm 6" by 4" plate as a base which should help with stability when used on workbench. Exceeded expectation really.

Good product use it at work for my dti perfect for what I need

Arrived with box damaged . Magnet worked fine . The face plate on the front is not that well fixed and has come of after a couple of uses.
