Jargar Cello Strings Set (factory fresh)

Great strings, my favourites for my cello. I have been playing on these for a few years and they serve me well. I am a student who mainly plays cello in university orchestras and shows.But PLEASE Jargar, please sell your individual strings with prime delivery. In an emergency, I don't want to have to fork out nearly £100 for a full new set of strings when only one snapped. (plus you'd probably get a few extra customers because not everyone has a local shop that sells decent cello strings so in an emergency, you'd pretty much be the only decent brand selling individual strings with free next day delivery)

Love these strings. Unfortunately, having just spent a fortune on a whole new set, the A string snapped while only having reached G on tuning it up for the first time! Gutted, as these are not cheap, and I don't expect them to snap so easily below their actual note! All other strings went on and tuned with no problem and as always, the sound of these strings is beautiful.

On the advice of my music tutor I fitted these strings to replace those provided by the cello manufacturer, and the difference was immediately apparent. The higher strings especially have a far more cello-like tone than the preceding ones and respond to the bow much more readily. The usual period of settling in that is familiar to anyone playing a stringed instrument was pleasantly short, and all the strings held their tuning comfortably after only a few days.

I previously had quite cheap strings on my cello and was advised by my teacher to purchase these strings for my grade 7. The difference has been huge and my cello now has a much nicer tone, with the strings settling very quickly keeping their tuning well. I would highly recommend these to anyone who is looking to improve the tone and sound quality of their cello.
