Yes, it does have an ionizer
One of the best bang for the buck mini filters on Amazon. Battery life is only a couple of hours, so I connected mine to a USB power bank. Runs 12+ hours now. Fan has been noisy at startup a couple of times, so hopefully it's replaceable when the time comes. Like it enough that I bought a second one.

Works great
My hubby gave a ride to someone wearing some highly obnoxious cologne in my car recently. I could smell it for days and it was triggering migraines. I left the purifier in the car while I was in a doctor’s appt and it completely got rid of the cologne. Very happy with this purchase.

This filter is one of the cheaper options on amazon so it's not the best, but it's worth the money to try it out.

Is not an ionizer, just a fancy fan
I really do not like being lied to, this product is a fancy fan and not an ionizer at all. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. The battery is incredibly short lived. The "scent packet" they add feels like a nice touch, but is only there to make you believe it is "working" spend your money elsewhere.
