Quality Product that looks great in our kitchen
Love the style and look of this kettle, well made and functional if a bit on the pricey side.We purchased this to replace a previous one exactly the same model and finish being about 6 years old that still worked fine but the lid got broken ( not the kettles fault)

Work of Art
I ordered the lilac colour. After all, why would I want such a purchase to blend in with my black kitchen worktops? From the photos I half expected the paint finish to be metallic but it isn't. It is a gloss finish of the plain colour. What a thing of beauty this kettle is.Robustly packed by Bugatti. A box inside a doubled-walled brown cardboard box. Mine was left out in the rain during the day of delivery and the inner box survived perfectly. You have to get used to tipping the kettle back upright properly as the angular design isn't quite the same as dumping a normal kettle back onto its plate, but you will. The kettle is quietly embossed with the Bugatti logo around the bottom (nice, understated). The spout is precision. The electric plate is a boring normal one but the kettle sits over the edges of it and you can't see it.This is a piece of kitchen equipment that we have visible in our homes all the time. My decision to spend well on an expensive and unusual replacement kettle is absolutely validated. I love it and I recommend.Yes, this is a real review and I have no connection with any of the companies involved.Edit 5/4/21 Kudos to you Casa Bugatti and thank you for your correspondence. Casa Bugatti are aware that I was 'Brexited' on my order of this kettle that I and received an import bill from FEDEX for £67.00. I had to take it on the chin I thought, I paid it. I then received a note from Casa Bugatti, without my making any contact with them, asking for the evidence and offering to pay me back for the import charges. This kettle just gets better every time I use it. Thank you CB, superb customer attention and you have made a difference.

Unbearable noise!
Very noisy!I have never in my life heard a nosier kettle. When I have guests around for coffe I'm embarrassed to switch it on as all you can hear is the loud crackling coming from the kettle. Everyone who hears it will always ask " what's that noise!". I love the sleek look of this kettle, but I can't stand the noise!! It drives both me and my husband crazy. So to conclude this review... I'm now on the look out for a new kettle... I would not advise anyone to buy it.

I really like the design on this kettle and it caught my eye as a little fancier than the run of the mill options out there! I took a star off since it's not very practical, the lid is small and won't be easy to clean unless rinsing with descaling chemicals. The lid also sticks a little, the small silicon/ rubber button on the top is just about big enough to pinch and open. However, I wouldn't swap it, because it's minor impractical aspects are far outweighed by it's beauty and robustness. Has a great sturdy feel!

Demand for VAT and Duty
UPDATE. Bless them. Bugatti have been in touch to make arrangements to pay the tax/duty demand. My beautiful kettle is beautiful again :)----6 weeks after receiving this beautiful kettle and making my first cup of tea with it I have received a demand to pay duty, VAT and a handling fee - despite buying this from Amazon.co.uk and there being absolutely no mention for fees to pay.My Kettle now has a demand for a further £66.69 in tax and duty.Worse - because the kettle was released to me without me even knowing any of this its value has been adjusted UPWARDS automatically - meaning it is actually valued at £194.95 and fees now due are paid on that rather than the £170 I paid.Included in the fee is £4 vat on FEDEX's handling fee's.Now you could blame brexit... although with all this technology working within Amazon's network it's hard top see how they can't warn you of this... like they tempt you with insurance before checking out.Beautiful kettle. Appalling service from Amazon.

Looks amazing.
Loved the colour and shape. Added style to the kitchen. It is really expensive for a kettle but if you want something different, it’s worth it.
