Bought to replace our old main kettle, it is very well made, easy to operate, quieter than our old kettle and quicker to boil. I am not sure about energy consumption as I have not tested this yet. The built in filter is a great idea but as I use a filter jug to fill, the operation of this has not been tested.Trying to register the kettle on the Bosch website was a nightmare and left me frustrated as it was difficult to find the correct area and nowhere did it say register a new appliance. I eventually found it under "Breakfast utensils"? then the site would not recognise E-nr. number. Luckily there was a customer service number I could ring and spoke to a lovely lady (Human) who sorted registering my Kettle efficiently and for 2 years cover. Come on Bosch you can do better than this!!!!Delivery as usual was efficient by Amazon Prime, but why do they promise next day delivery when you purchase but then change it to two or more days after you have paid? or am I being obtuse.

A good relatively inexpensive kettle. No bells whistles and flags but quite quick, not too noisy, pours well and a good basic boiling water machine.

+ Not expensive+ Lightweight, which is an important factor for one particular family member.+ Usable capacity ranges from 2 cups (or perhaps even less) upwards.+ Relatively quick.+ Relatively quiet.- Style is just about ok, at least for me.Overall, ticks most of the boxes pretty well Hopefully it will last.

Owned for over a year now I think, absolutely no issues at all with the kettle, it's working well. I think that although one of the selling points was quiet operation, I don't find it particularly quiet but I'm sure there are many factors around that - it gets constant use throughout the day, every day and has held up well so far.I'd definitely get another one if and when this expires.

This is a nice looking kettle which boils quickly but seems to boil a few seconds longer than my last kettle - not sure if this is some type of health/safety feature. Works well and, usefully, you can boil just enough water for one cup of coffee/tea quite quickly. However, the on/off switch and the button to open the kettle lid feels quite flimsy so not sure how long this will last. Also, to register the guarantee you have to access a Bosch website which only allows you to register if you open a key system account Phoned the available number, went through the numerical menu to get nowhere. Emailed Bosch to ask if I could just register my product over the phone and have not received a reply
