Metal shavings in seasoning...
I wanted to like this product but my first impression is that its less than average quality. Lets start with he pan. The "seasoning" was done terribly; mine came with metal shavings baked into the seasoning. I guess, I'm going to have to sand and re-season.The welds of the undercarriage were very poor, uneven and in some cases not all the way around. The "adjustable legs" aren't really fully adjustable...there are two pin catches at two different levels. If you don't use one of the preset pins...the clamps are not strong enough to hold the legs while working on the pan.

Explore the possibilities!
I have never owned a cooking unit quite like this one. It's a versatile cooking device that can very easily handle various cooking or reheating needs. The convenient, all-in-one setup opens the ability to pretty much use it in just about any situation requiring food preparation for two or more individuals. It excels in quick deployment, ease of cleaning, and the overall space needed for travel. I found, once it's set up, the time it takes to heat up and start cooking takes no time, at all. The burner heats the center of the skottle very quickly and it retains the heat well, to where the flame adjustment of the burner never needs to be set to no more than medium heat when cooking meats and vegetables, and lower for eggs. Also, from the center moving out, there are different temperature zones, which is perfect for keeping things warm!Has a result of not having to keep the heat set to full on while cooking, I found having to replace the empty one-pound propane bottle is not frequent, like with my grill. It comes preseasoned, hence right out of the unpacking, it's ready to go, Just make sure you have the proper fuel source, which is not included in the purchase.Overall, I highly recommend this item for outdoor cooking. It's a serious tragedy if you only think of using this device when heading on an outdoor adventure. There's no reason not to have it set up on the back porch to compliment your gas grill or outdoor smoker. I also would advise purchasing the "Skottle Grill Accessory Kit" 3 Piece, Lid, Steam Tray, and Wind Guard, which I have purchased. It opens up the ability to get full use of skottle. Using the lid, it basically becomes an oven for baking... I also added a couple of S-hooks to hang a utensil and the lid from the legs, attached to the support screws...Lastly, do your research! There are so many videos out there that explore the wide versatile cooking capabilities of this cooking system. I look forward to exploring the possibilities, in the future!

Perfect for camping, tailgating, or hanging out
This is perfect for camping, tailgating, or just hanging out in the back yard. We set this up in our backyard in our rural home and my husband actually made a mean fried rice in this! We also grilled various meats on it and so far it seems to really work well. The grill top is shaped like a flatter sort of wok, so no high edges to stop food from flying off, but as long as you aren't there mixing stuff fast, it should be okay. The heat distribution seems to be good, and as you would think, the middle is the hot spot, getting cooler as you work your way toward the outside, like a traditional wok would be on a stovetop. Love that the legs are adjustable.

Good for camping and tailgating
I haven’t actually used this yet, only first impression after setting it up. The grill itself is very heavy duty and I imagine will last awhile if you take care of it. It’s kinda like a cast iron pan which requires specific ways of cleaning and maintenance. Set up was pretty straightforward though it’s still a bit shaky to the touch but sturdy enough. Just make sure you put it on even ground and don’t bump too hard. The stove can use butane or propane so that adds a bit of versatility. When broken down, the parts can be stored in a pretty durable bag and the legs have their own bag as well. All combined it’s still pretty lightweight to carry. I can imagine this would be very useful for camping or tailgating or just outside cooking in general. I don’t really like the price though. I don’t really feel it should cost this much but it is niche and could last a lifetime so maybe it’s worthy of a purchase.
