The reviews are all good up to 2015 then go down hill. has there been a change in manufacture or design after that date?

Go to Google and type in: what are Bob Ross paint brushes made of and as I found, it took me to www.hofcraft.com where I found the information you requested. In my experience the shedding of bristles was very minimal and only when I initially started to use them other than that, no problem. Hope this helps
