It needs some waterproof connectors. They get wet while washing the bike and the lights misbehave until they dry out then everything goes back to normal. The lights themselves are watertight and have never gotten water inside them. Only the connectors that connect to the bike.

Was very wearer of purchasing these because of a terrible review from one person but I must say not everyone is always the best judge of character. I installed these with ease and they came out amazing. The only extra item you will need is some string double-sided tape to attach the top of the lights to the back of the filling housing. Again I can't be happier with my purchase for my 19 Street Glide Special.

Don't waist your money. This is plastic and attached by the 9/16 frame bolt.This WIIL break! Seriously plastic one hole connection to a bolt that needs to be torked.

Like other reviews state you do have to take them apart to install them. Not a big deal. Except the hole on the back of the bracket that the wiring goes through is not big enough for the plug to fit through. They are made of cheap plastic so I’m not sure that they will even last. The signals stop and when the brake is engaged so if you’re using them as a turn signal and you hit the brakes the signals will stop signaling and just be brake lights. They do not include zip ties. For the price you pay I expected better. Over all I’d return them if I could but already installed now. Pay a little more and get better quality lights. I’m sure I’ll be buying a new set in a month or two.

They work so far so good. Blinker doesn't work when the brakes are on though.
