Black scissors are marginally heavy duty
They feel nice in the hands and work OK but in terms of thickness of blades I would not call them really heavy duty. The silver pair may be heavy duty but not the black ones. Since I already have some REALLY HEAVY DUTY POULTRY SCISSORS, I will probably keep these if they do other jobs satisfactory. Off to test them now.
