Artway Gold Leaf Kit with the Essential Materials for Gilding

The product is perfect fpr has been designed for, my use was a bit unconventional as I used the gold leaves to decorate my bike's lugs, the result was great. In terms of ease of use, it depends what you use it for clearly and your experience, this will require some testing before in some cases...in regards to intructions, youtube is clogged with videos on how to use these, nothing written can be of any help, this note is for those complaining that there are no instructions...will buy again

The leaf and brushes are fine but the size glue was useless. I followed the instructions and left for 15 mins it was bone dry and shiny, okay.....I tried again and left it for 10 mins again dry and shiny (slippy, not tacky) I must point out this was in my workshed that has no direct heating and although not cold it was not that warm either - Next I added it and stood over it testing it to wait for the tacky point (the label says that it is meant to be still workable for up to 30 mins after applying) No joy the damn stuff went from wet to hard shiny dry in about 2 mins as I was still applying top the rest of the frame I was working on. Had to go to the local art shop and by more - that worked great!

I have never tried gold leaf before and found this set to be great. I used the gold leaf on a mirror frame and it is a little bit fiddley but that's more my application than the product. Its good to have an all in one kit so you can apply and seal the gold leaf in place.
