Mucksters really are the best all purpose, garden, work, generally getting mucky, waterproof ankle boots. The Amazon price was the best we have found anywhere, with the bonus of next day delivery. Win win. Very comfortable with or without socks. Good soles that wear well. Pretty well non-slip on most surfaces except wet wood which is just plain slippy. Not too heavy so you can wear them all day and last a good long while. Their size 9 is a good size 9 fit. All round excellent boot.

Really like these boots which I use for dog walks. Comfy and warm a well made product which I would recommend. Generous width but not oversized. Easy to slip on and off due to wide opening... however that does allow for bits of debris to get inside the boot unless your wear trousers over the boot opening. Not a great problem but bear in mind if gardening in them . My wife purchased a pair too and she is extremely happy with hers and would also highly recommend these boots.

Wear these whenever it rains walking the dog and they've been great, comfortable and dry.

I was looking for something to slip on to wear in the garden to let the dogs out / do some light gardening work and these are absolutely perfect. They fit well and are really comfortable. Initially the seam on the ankle rubbed and I was considering sending them back but after wearing a few times I don't notice it at all. I wish I'd bought these years ago!

Sizing is generous which I expected so as I’m usually a 9.5 (UK) I ordered a 9. The slightly wider fitting allows me to wear thick walking socks with them. Also it’s worth noting that the insoles are removable which is useful for replacing them or to add a flat filler insole underneath the insole (which I’ve done with the right foot as I have a bunion on my left foot so the right foot of wellie-type boots always feels a bit loose. They’re well made so I expect them to be durable but I’ve only used them for a few weeks. Being short they’re easy to to put on (especially with the generous strong loops at the back). They’re perfect for when it’s wet and muddy. The price I paid was discounted which made them good value

Initially I was very happy with these boots. I used them in the garden at weekends and they kept my feet warm and dry as well a providing good grip in the mud. Unfortunately as you can see from the photos the ‘weld’ between the toe material and the rest of the boot is coming apart. As I said they have been used only occasionally and have been well looked after with boot dubbing that use on my other boots to keep them in good condition. Either way you wouldn’t expect them to start falling apart in less than a year. These boots should a have a 1 year warranty however trying to navigate through Amazon to get a return is impossible and there is no way to contact anyone. Muck boots as a company do not appear to honour any warranty for an item not bought directly from their own website. I am very very disappointed both with Amazon as well as the product itself. Buying these muck boots is a risk that I am not willing to undertake again.

The fit for me was perfect and the are very durable. I use them for going fishing and find them very warm and waterproof. Easy to put on and the grip with the thick sole is excellent l

Still going strong 3 years later

Turns out I have much smaller feet than I was used to. I had to go _down_ a size to get to to be a reasonable fit. That being said, it is absolutely waterproof, breathable and very, very comfortable. I bought these to use as bike commuting shoes for Vancouver's rainy winter season. These DO NOT disappoint! I am THRILLED. Very nice fit. EASY to put on and off. Super grip on the soles and I am not worried about slipping off the pedals! Highly recommended. Before buying, measure your feet heel to longest toe and get that size. You may be surprised that you have to go down a size.

Alright, so I picked these boots up for running around the yard, dragging hoses and dealing with muddy mornings, and honestly they’ve been pretty solid. They slide on easy (big plus when you just want to pop out back before breakfast), and yes — they keep your feet dry. Wore them when the grass was soaked and didn’t feel the damp creeping in. The 4 mm neoprene lining is comfy and warm enough for cool mornings. Fit-wise, I wear my regular size and they felt true to size. The collar around the ankle is a little roomy (which surprised me) — fine for walking the dog or mowing, but if you’re climbing steep wet banks you might feel a little wobble. The outsole has decent tread, but on slick stones or icy patches I found myself being more careful (not a high-performance hiking boot). Things I like: • Dry feet. No soggy socks mid-morning. • Easy slip-on / slip-off which matters when you’re juggling boots + leash + coffee. • Comfortable for yard/chores wear. Things to keep in mind: • The ankle collar is a bit loose — if you prefer a snug boot, you may feel extra movement. • Traction is good for lawn/yard, but if you do serious slick rock or icy inclines maybe choose something with more aggressive tread. • Looks are more “practical yard boot” than fashion show — but that’s okay for chores. Bottom line: If you’re after a dependable, no‐fuss boot for yard work, muddy mornings, dog walks, etc., this one does the job. If you need hardcore hiking or icy mountain terrain, maybe step up. I’d buy again.
