Easy to use. Takes lots of backup pictures. Will buy again

Excellent product. Could do with a bigger capacity say 64gb or 128 gb.. However it walks you through how to load all your pictures and is incremental so no double copies. Once you have this , then the same can be done on a bigger capacity flash drive. I backed mine up with a 64 gb flash drive .However , this is a very simple and effective way to store photos, just not enough. Buy it though !!!!!!!

Quite like this little device now I've got used to it. Initially when I started the backup I wondered what was happening as there seemed to be never ending images being saved or duplicates rejected. However, I realised that many of my photos were also stored in other files such as Photo Story 3 for Windows projects and these were rightly ignored in the backup process as I have these backed up separately anyway. I now have 2,670 photos backed up on this device, all in the same folders as on my PC and all in the same order within each folder, Viewing them on the device is exactly the same as viewing them on the PC. I recently added more photos to my PC and then backed them up on the Picture Keeper. This took no time at all, including again, ignoring the duplicates. Not cheap but I'm really glad I purchased it.

Very simple to use but did need a bit of help to find all of my pictures. Of those locations that it does search it saves every picture whether you want it or not so it fills quite quickly, I wish that I had purchased one with more capacity.

Expensive for storing a lot of images. I got it wrong as I misread the storage the the 4KB would store. I would suggest that the average user who takes some photographs regularly would need the 16KB version, at least. It does what it says, and does not re-save images already saved. Works well, just be aware of cost. I may upgrade and delete a lot of my own images before saving. Good product.

This is my second picture keeper - I found my first one at a bring-and-buy sale! It is absolutely marvellous for a non-techy person like me. It could not be simpler to use. Just plug it in to your computer, and all your photos will automatically be saved onto it - just like magic! There is no complicated clicking and dragging. It does it all for you, and you just sit back and wait until it is done. I have thousands of photos on my PC, and was worried that if anything happened to it, all my photos would be lost, but now I have peace of mind.

This product is good at what it does but expensive for what is essentially a USB memory stick. The cost must be in the built in program which as it says allows you to answer a few simple questions and then backs up all your photo's / pictures. Based on the number of photo's it says it can store, I bought one off. It now tells me it's full and I need another. The quantity of pictures it says it can store is based on an average size picture being 1MB. Most of my pictures are 5MB . I think in general it will store about 20% of what it says unless you have all low quality pictures.Although expensive, I will buy another as you cannot put a price on losing treasured pictures.You might be just better off buying a standard USB pen drive at a fraction of the cost and manually copying your photographs on to it.

Easy to install . does what it says . doesn't store duplicates . just remember to store it safely after you down load your photo`s
