They are more like half the size of a normal commercial shampoo bottle from a supermarket. But as long as you are aware of this, and OK with the cost, go ahead and buy it. I was introduced to them at a Marriot in Utah. The conditioner made my hair feel like silk. Nice scent to both, not overpowering. The cost is a bit on the high end for 8.5 ounces. That is my only complaint.
