ALTRAMen's AL0A546Y Lone Peak Alpine Trail Running Shoe

If you are out of the return window Altra will not cover these under their warranty.This is my second pair of Altras, both are super comfortable and probably the best hiking shoes I’ve ever owned, they grip everything!!! But the fabric collar on these LP Alpines ripped in the same exact place on both the left and the right shoes. The right side went on my 4th day wearing them, I was building a shed so I figured I had ripped it. But 4 weeks later the left shoe ripped when I was at my daughter’s softball tournament not doing anything. It was past the return window so I went straight to Altra as it says to in the details of the order. They responded but said that Global Watch is not an authorized dealer and they could not replace the shoes. So now I have a beautiful, super comfortable, $140 pair of shoes that are falling apart more and more everyday and I haven’t been wearing them for two months. Totally lame.

Son unos tenis barefoot, lo que implica qué tienen muy poco acojinamiento en la suela, lo cual esta ok, sin embargo se ve muy arrugada la parte superior ya puestos y les falta medio cm de longitud de acuerdo a la talla.

My feet are very wide and all my life I’ve been praying for shoes like these. Love them!

I had seen some reviews mentioning that the sole separated from the shoe within a month so I was worried about the quality control. So color me surprised when the first signs of wear weren't the soles, but instead a small patch near the heal cup that started coming apart and showing the fluff inside. Nothing wrong otherwise but I barely had them a month when they started opening up.As for the fit and comfort, these are probably the best shoes I've ever worn. My toes feel free, my feet don't ache one bit in them. I've worn wide Brooks Ghosts and Hoka Bondis for years now, and while great, they just felt a bit wrong. These Altras are amazing. I hope they can do better on quality or I can find a shoe that stands up better to daily wear.
