I bought this to run some always-on services. I installed ubuntu server and docker. It runs my Home assistant and other services that I don't want any down time on. I do wish I had gotten a model with more ram as this unit has soldiered ram.

This remarkable contraption, a device of such tremendous value, has brought me a curious kind of joy—one perhaps reminiscent of the most cherished moments of my youth. While it may not possess the swiftness of my grand desktop, ever a stalwart in the realm of video editing, it dutifully attends to my myriad needs; a reliable companion amidst the chaos of years gone by. In those halcyon days at the senior centre, where we would gather, laughter mingling with the hum of machines, this device proved itself a worthy partner. We utilized it upon the grand screen—a sight to behold! Equipped with a wireless keyboard and mouse, we created a little oasis of connectivity. Ah, but memory, that fickle muse, plays tricks on us all. Hence, we did find it prudent to introduce a thumb scanner, a simple solution for those of us, like myself, who have long since misplaced the keys to our own recollections. Alas, there are moments of folly, as when dear Slick Willie—bless his clumsy enthusiasm—takes to the keyboard. It is not so much a failure of the machine but rather a testament to the indulgent whims of age that prompt such bewildering encounters. I own two of these so obviuosly I like them. One I am writing this review on and use mainly for electronics work, office tasks, light gaming, and Internet browsing. The other I use as a synthesizer workstation with a midi controller connected to it. I run Ableton and Tracktion Waveform Pro 12 on it just fine but don't push it too hard. I also have it dual booting with CentOS that I also use for sound synthesis, Waveform Pro 11, and just messing around with Linux in general. The first one I also have Linux dual booting with W11 but it has Kali Linux. Nice and quiet so they are nice as a studio computer if you aren't trying to push it really hard with 100 midi and audio tracks.

The product page is gone from their website. You cannot find that page even with Google. So you can imagine what the future of this product will be. Also, it's always sketchy when a manufacturer just deletes product pages from their website.

OK...so, first things first...it was advertised as shipping with Ubuntu/Linux. It actually shipped with Windows 11 preinstalled, but I wiped that garbage away quick fast in a heartbeat and installed Void Linux. Void works flawlessly straight away and detected all hardware correctly. I can't comment on gaming since I'm not a basement nerd, but the performance has been outstanding for my needs, and what an incredible bang for the buck!
