Works as intended. Installs pretty easily. I choose not to use the included splice things and just put the wires into my headlight switches, so when I flip the lights on, the temp gets power. Reads pretty quick, too. Note: temp will flash when it's reading over 250, which can be annoying if your motorcycle has an acceptable average temp of 275-285. But really, it's fine. Would def recommend.

It works just fine and the quality is good, I just didn't pay enough attention to see that the temperature range is way too low for an air cooled engine. It should work great for water cooled stuff.

In my case. I should have bought 2 of them. Air cooled bike and I had a easy time installing it. But wish I had bought two. Does what it supposed to and easy installation. Product is well made. Wonder how long it will last

Great Device. Should not need 12v power. Should operate off battery. Accurate sensor and display but reading caps out at 248F. Much too low. Cylinder head temps on a modified 212cc engine hover between 300 and 400 regularly.

Very good temperature control. The original eyelet was too big for the spark plug hole, so they sent me one I could put on a head bolt. That worked great for my car, and I was able to identify the problem with my regular sensor, and not overheat again.

Reads 40 degrees below what it should compared to IR thermometer. Complete junk

works but didn't fit on my spark plug in the config of the engine, so i had to do a little modding

I wanted this to monitor my Millermatic 251 (rectifier) temperature. I didnt use the included eyelet, instead i drilled a hole through the heatsink and secured the stud/thermistor directly to it. At first i was getting temps WAY off, turns out my battery voltage was low/incorrect. So i used a buck converter from dc 35v to 12.0v. Even 13.5v dc gave me incorrect temps. So i guess its just picky. Works great for me now!

Stopped working after an hour use.

The product itself seems well made and very easy to read. I feel this product is useless for cylinder temps since most air cooled engines reach well over 120 Celsius. This product will not read anything over 120

Il serait judicieux de préciser que le produit nécessite une alimentation 12V pour fonctionner. La photo de couverture est trompeuse car on ne vois qu'un seul des deux fils de l'appareil. Le produit semble cependant de qualité. 4 étoiles si le modèle est disponible avec piles internes.

Piece of junk. On connecting to vehicle's power supply, unit came on and worked OK for 2 or 3 minutes. Then went off and wouldn't come on again until disconnected then reconnected. Not worth it to return.
