I’m giving this 5 stars because it’s perfect for its purpose as a gentle, low-tox bar. It lathers sufficiently, cleans well, doesn’t dry my hair or sensitive skin out, doesn’t sting, and has no fragrance. My hair is shoulder length, and I don’t need conditioner with this. It helps to rinse with cold water. (I will put a little balm on the ends as a leave-in if it’s really dry out.) This bar lasts a long time. So, now I just have this one simple bar in the shower, and it’s handy for travel. I did a rudimentary pH test on it, and it was neutral as they claim (7). I also checked the ingredients on the EWG database. Honestly, everyone should be using this type of low-chemical product. I can highly recommend it and plan to keep buying it.Note: Any shampoo bar will “melt” and not last long if allowed to sit in water, so you need a soap dish that elevates the bar. I use a silicone version by Yamazaki that has little points to rest the bar on. Or, you can hang the bar in the mesh bag sold by Kitsch.

10 STARS!! I’ve NEVER ran to review something so fast ever in my life! I mean FRESH out the shower and hair dried. I have tried SO many products on my thin and dry hair to give it shine and volume. I just bought shampoo and conditioner from a salon for over $20 a bottle and that STILL didn’t do what this stuff just did to my hair. I’ve seen this stuff advertised for a while and the reviews and finally thought, why not? Literally the bar started lathering immediately and I only needed a couple seconds on my head before it was covered, I have medium length hair. It didn’t leave a residue like others and washed out with no problem and my scalp even felt clean, and then to top it off it’s a body wash too which has my skin feel so soft as well and didn’t bother any sensitive areas. Seriously, do not hesitate! I literally just threw away any other soap I use. I’m hooked! Now I’m off to review the conditioner and shave bar!

This is the first body/ shampoo bar that I've totally liked. I don't know if it's just me, but I don't even need a conditioner. My hair just always turns out the way I want it!

I was a little skeptical on getting a bar shampoo. I’m trying to find ways to reduce my carbon footprint and was looking for some shampoo and conditioner bars.I have a lot of allergies, which makes me nervous to try new things. Plus, I cannot stand fragrances in my hair. It seems like everything has fragrance, and so with so many fragrances and so many products it was just giving me headaches. However, this had no sent, unlike other bars that claim to not have any.This shampoo is really great, but I did notice that I get some flakes with this. It’s not anything crazy, but it does have a little bit of drying of my scalp. I use the conditioning bar and leave in conditioning hair mousse. Normally, I do not need to use it.It leaves my hair feeling clean and lightweight. Which I love.

Bought for my sensitive skin husband and I also ended up using it!!! Cleans well and there is a good lather. My scalp isn't itchy and my husband approves and says it makes his hair and beard very soft.

I'm allergic to just about everything in the soap/shampoo area. This did not irritate my skin and was fairly mild on my hair. I use conditioner after. It was awesome to take on my cruise as it took up so little room in my suitcase

Great product-works well on my skin and hair. I have multiple allergies and this bar is mammal free, fragrance free and dye free and leaves my skin refreshed. All the good without the unnecessary bad!!
