Q: Can anyone weigh in on the hip-hugger vs this square basket?

I currently have the hip-hugger baskets and also a large rectangular basket. They hold a lot, but the doorways and hall in my house are a bit narrow and if I'm not careful I knock my knuckles on the jams going through the doors, and on the closet doorknob in the hall. I'm ready to retire the big baskets and get these that will be easier to maneuver! I'm sure my knuckles will be much happier.

I received 6 baskets for about $37.

Q: Can these baskets be stacked when full?

Ahhhhh ... Not quite sure how to answer, but I'll try. If all (6) baskets are full with clothes ...etc. you can put one on top of another and so on then you'll have (6) baskets stacked to the ceiling. Then you will surely have a problem with "tip over"! Right now I have 3 baskets filled about 3/4's way of clothes and that's fine they are stacked on top of one another. Now if you are talking about freestanding (without) any support of all (6) baskets I'd be careful. I hope I gave you a little insight, so inshort they can be stacked when full, thank you for your question, graham :):):)

Q: Are these recyclable?

They meet the recycling requirements in my place of residence. It appears they will not be ready for the bin for a long time if I am not too rough on them
