Great barefoot sandal
I've been a barefoot shoe wearer for about 5 years now, most recently wearing Furoshiki wrapping shoes from Vibram. Was heading out to Crete for a week of holiday and wanted a sandal that had the barefoot experience, but historically have not got along with flip-flops (foot strap rubs and cuts in) or sandals (heel rubs to a blister). Bought these a day before I flew out, because I'd been over analysing for several months leading up. Best decision I made was to get these. Same kind of walking experience as the vibrams, but open toes. Walking on sand or the hot pavement were fine. No rubbing or tightness. Didn't need to grip the sandal with my toes or arch, the adjustable band on the heel was perfect. I did have one or two experiences where the front on the sandal would get caught in the wet sand and would fold under the ball of the foot, but this was more a problem of me living my foot far enough up than any quality issue with the sandal. Would definitely buy another pair if these wore out (which, having worn these every day for at least 15km of sand and pavement walking every day for 7 days straight, was very minimal). If you're already a barefoot shoe wearer, these should be no issue for you. If you're new to barefoot, there might be a bit of a learning curve. Really solid quality of all materials and fixings.

Simply a great pair of sandals for the summer
I'm not into hiking or someone you would find in the wilds, knee-deep in a raging river or somewhere like that! No, I just wanted a pair of very cool lightweight minimalist footwear that would suit my everyday needs this summer. These fit the bill perfectly. For anyone looking for a pair of great-looking sandals, but feel so light on your feet, I'd recommend this pair of Xero, Aqua footwear.

Sole saviour
I have a flip flop hate. I know it's me. I know I should love their slap-slap convenience. But....To keep them on, I end up walking at a speed glaciers flash their lights behind me to pass...These little beauties are a game changer. Flip flops with a heel (cord). Light. Flat. Easy on. Stay on.I now laugh as I pass the seasons in the slow lane. Why not 5 stars? They do have a habit of flipping over at the toes (for me - right foot) which is a little aggravating. But only really when being pushed (walking in dunes). Flat surfaces are a dream.A bit pricey - but they fill a need. A quiet, sole non-slapping need.

Wouldn’t stay on my feet
I ordered these as advertised as a bare foot experience and not needing to use the foot to keep the sandal on I wore them on 3 very short periods of time getting from my front door to the taxi and into the hospital and had to pull the back up quite a few times to enable them to stay on my feet - whilst I was in hospital I worked out how to properly adjust the back and discovered that the front was also adjustable so I did these adjustments and still on a very short walk in the hospital the back still wouldn’t stay up and on my journey home the back just wouldn’t stay up this issue made my ability to walk even more difficult than it normally is as a disabled person so I’ve returned them I don’t know if there is some special way of adjusting them to keep them on your feet or if you can only keep them on your feet if you have healthy feet (my feet are acutely painful but at the same time mostly numb and unable to properly detect footwear or the floor if barefoot I also wear compression socks) I don’t know if it was my foot problems or my compression socks or combination of both that caused the back strap of these sandals to continually fall off my feet or if the pair of sandals are defective or if they design is faulty - anyway thanks to the Prime try before you buy I have been able to return them very easily - due to my issues I’ve only given the product 1 star I will say that the look nice and appeared well made and if they had stayed on my feet I would have been extremely happy to keep them and pay the £50.00

The front bends
Shoe fits size as expected, can be worn as flip flops or as sandals. They are very good, the only drawback is that the front portion of the shoe bends back while in use meaning the shoe steps on itself

Great in theory but show signs of wear after just 1 week
I bought these sandals specifically for a week long summer holiday to wear at the pool and while walking around the resort.Things I like:- Design - I like the lightweight design, but expect to invest some time in geting the laces right, mine still aren't quite right- Barefoot - The soles are thin and flexible, you can feel uneven surfaces underfoot as you would expect with a barefoot style sandal- Style - The style allows these to be warn at the pool/beach or out and about in more formal settingsThe bad:- Grip - I found the tread slipping on some wet tiled surfaces. Not all the time, but often enough to force me to step more deliberate and carefully on honed tile surfaces- Comfort - The toggles for the laces intermittently slip under the heal strap, causing discomfort and the occasional need to adjust (not helpful if you have you hands full- Fit - The fit feels a little sloppy, and I haven't yet found a setup (if that's the right word) that positions my foot correctly on the sole. My big toe sometimes slips off the sole- Wear - After a week of use walking around the resort, with a mixture of wet and dry use, the sole is starting to wear and discolour. This is quite disappointing given the price and Xero's brand. Maybe I got a duff pair.

Excellent bare foot sandals
Very lightweight. Stretchy "lace" attachments take some getting used to - definitely not an improvement over previous non-stretchy version
