Take precautions
I got this safe particularly because it has a touch pad AND key access. I have enough trouble remembering a pin number, so I was glad to get a key. I made sure to put valuables in a fire-safe pouch first, then place inside. I do wonder about the "oven" factor: if the metal of the safe acts as an oven for things inside. If my house catches on fire, will the things inside burn anyway because it'll get so hot? Maybe the fire-safe pouch will prevent this. *crossing my fingers
