At least mine was genuine (from Quailitas Ltd, fulfilled by Amazon, bought in May 2023). And I soon noticed the difference! Bought generic cartridge spools before, and generic loose wire, always having issues with both in terms of automatic feed failing to work properly. But the genuine spool got through this season just fine, and is still going.

I was expecting the product to come in a sealed inside the package especially as it was coming from Flymo but no the spool was just loose . Had the line come adrift from the spool if probably would have been no good . As you have to get the correct tension when winding line on yourself.

Excellent quality and clearly genuine as identical to the original.

Very difficult to put in the strimmer

Unfortunateky this part is not compatible with my Flymo mini.
