Safety first!!!
Whilst I didn’t like the lengthy wait for delivery from Amazon US (purchased via Amazon UK) and the cost for a moulded block of plastic, I am so pleased that I bought this item!! My table saw terrified the living bejayzuz out of me when trying to cut small/narrow pieces of wood. Not now. I do have a healthy respect/fear of it, but the Grrr-Ripper is a great tool that makes these tasks way easier and safer than using a push stick or two. Yeah it may take a minute (mostly seconds) to set up for different width cuts, but I am one happy bunny when doing so because I feel much more comfortable using my table saw. You only need to ‘Google’ the tool to see how useful and safe it is, there are loads of vids out there! Am considering a second purchase for use with longer boards when I find the ‘right’ price.

fabulously simple piece of kit, does exactly what you want it to do.
Keeps your fingers safe and improves the quality of cut by keeping timber at a consistent margin from blade. It might seem expensive, but I wouldn't be without it now, seriously considering buying another one.

Makes through cuts safe and controlled.
I've always used the standard push sticks and home made push blocks and was quite happy with them. My main thoughts around this was that if you paid attention and respected the tool then you should be safe. I've often looked at the GRR-Ripper and thought is was a little pricey for a fancy push block, but as I spent more time in the workshop I felt I would like a little more control, so I ordered my first GRR-Ripper. What a difference it made to the control I felt I had over the workpiece. Keeping the workpiece pressed down and into the fence without putting side pressure on the blade with a single block is genius. I still focus on the work and respect the tools but this gives me a little more comfort with respect to the safety of my hands. I also find the the various adjustment and side support very useful.

Makes using a table saw much safer and a real pleasure
I wish I’d bought one of these a long time ago. Table saws should be treated with respect and this device whilst quite expensive is much cheaper than having fingers reattached! I’ve used large table saws for years and recently installed a DeWalt saw in my workshop and their jig makes using it feel al lot safer and allows accurate and repeatable cuts to be made. I’m not thinking a second one may be handy for feeding longer lengths of wood through the saw without pausing. See YouTube videos for excellent reviews of this product. Happy to recommend and word buy again but hopefully won’t need to. Some reviewers report it difficult to set up but I didn’t find that personally especially if you bother to read the instructions or watch videos etc.

Love this gadget
Love this gadget. I don't use a riving knife on my table saw, so more care has to be taken when using it. this little gizmo makes life 100% safer. the rubber mats underneath are very grippy and even with larger pieces of wood I have found that it pushes it through easily. It is very adjustable and I found that even with very narrow gaps between the fence and the blade I could still use the GRR Ripper thanks to the thin leg on the right hand side. It comes with lots of attachments which makes it easy to use with pieces of wood of all widths To summarise, if, like me you don't use a riving knife, then get one of these. it makes life safer and quicker to cut wood accurately
