Very pleased with this
This is the third kitchen mixer tap we've had over the decades. Our previous model was a very expensive Blanco, which gave trouble. This unit is reliable and has the advantage of having a high curved neck, which ends higher above the sink than our other taps and so the incidence of accidentally banging glassware and crockery items against the tap has stopped. The thing is elegant in its way and the chrome has remained clear and unblemished. The taps are still tight and they operate accurately and reliably. We did have one I initial problem in that the cold tap appeared not to be closing off the flow of water immediately, particularly on the filtered water operation. Attempts to cure this failed and an engineer came out to inspect it. He couldn't work out why this was happening either and was preparing to replace the unit completely, when he tried one more thing. He replaced the standard faucet end with one that aerated the water, and bingo! the problem went away. So if you experience this (water letting by for ten seconds or so after closing the tap), just call them and ask for an aerator fitment (price, a few bob).

Devil's in the details - poor manual
Nice quality tap.Had to call customer service as installation manual diagram not clear enough and they took quite a while to find the answer.Came with the wrong flexible tail fittings for my plumbing and were also quite short so it was a major hassle researching and buying the correct ones. Still cheaper than calling a plumber and we got there in the end.

Perfect 3-way tap for water softener
We have other Bristan taps around our house and they are superb. We choose this particular Bristan tap as it can take 3 feeds - hot/cold via our water softener and a separate unsoftened cold feed for drinking.we have a water softener but wanted a single tap in the kitchen without having to have a separate filter tap for drinking. With this tap you have hot/ cold softener water that you pull the tap forward for and you push back the cold tap for unsoftened water for drinking that also runs through the provided Bristan carbon filter that you replace every 6-months.The tap looks good our plumber fitted all the pipework up neatly under the sink and is very well made.Overall - very happy. Quality tap
Well made and well finished this is a smart, simple and functional design. It is easy to fit, the long swan neck is easily removed during fitting which makes it even easier. I would have liked clearer fitting instructions with it however, it is not very clear exactly where each part goes, and as one small part had hidden itself in a corner of the box it was easy to overlook it during the fitting as it was not obvious on the instructions. Other than that it was straight forward, and #i am very pleased with the finished result.

Lovely solid tap, Bristan certainly significantly better than other cheaper bits of kit, but...
Great tap. Robust, lovely to look at. Plumber said it was a joy to fit. Apart from......the water filter fitting is by a self tapping mechanism, shown in the picture. They're intended for a DIY fitting, but leak every time. We ended up ordering a different type of fitting at extra cost to fix the inevitable leak. For the price of a better fitting, and overall cost of the tap, I'm not sure what Bristan is looking to achieve other than having the ability to say it's a DIY fit :/ don't let it out you off the tap, just let the plumber know to avoid a call back later

Pull out kitchen sink tap
Prices have skyrocketed since the lockdown, can’t believe it’s £220 for a tap. It’s nicely designed, replaces an equivalent tap from an unknown brand which went bust due to hardness in the water after 5 years. I did the replacement my self it’s easy to fit and swap over you do need two pliers to loosen and tighten the connections. The tap sits on a long screw with 12mm nut affixed to hold it in place. Took 15 mins to swap over and I’ve never done a plumbing job myself, just need the 12mm and two adjustable spanner/pliers and a flat screw driver to finish the work. Saved £130 on Labour. The item is alright not wowed by it and also it’s too early to judge. No leaks yet from anywhere and the manufacturer states parts come with 10 year guarantee so I’m not bothered. Individual parts can be purchased from the manufacturer after the warranty expires which is bonus. If they only made this in different colors shine it would be perfect. Also, I looked at the competitor brand they were £80 more so went this one instead.

Good solid tap
Our plumber recommended this brand of tap. Apparently if they fail you can get spare parts rather than replace the entire tap. As others have said this is a large tap. Lever on right goes backwards for filtered water and forward for cold. We’ve found the flow is slower on filter but no issue. The filter is fitted into pipe work under sink and seems easy to change when required.
