Q: When does this rice expire, the date is strange on the bag?

Mine shows an expiration date of 3/2023

Q: What's the expiration date printed on the bag? How do I make sure this is not an expired product?

Hi, Mike Japanese rice bags are didn't have Expiration date and the bags date is rice polishing date. As are guide is how long is good to use Japanese rice are spring time is 1 month, summer time is 3 weeks and winter time is 2 months in the room temperature also rice are doesn't like direct sunlight, high temperatures and moisture so the best things is to put it in the refrigerator ! Also put in tupperware to keep in the refrigerator because the rice absorbs the smell of other things so use any sizes Tupperware and keep it in the fringeleter and can be eaten for long time !
