Awesome Dutch folk rock album !If this doesn't awaken your European spirit, I don't know what will.

This is a great album, if you like folk metal, you will surely like this album and the band, one thing that makes this band awesome is that they sing in their native language, Dutch, which is something that i think is great and maybe important in a folk metal band, plus, the music they make with their instruments sounds real good, personally I'll suggest you this album and all the other albums from this band.

One of the best albums I've heard for this genre.

This is not bad metal, but not great either. If you've adopted any kind of paganism, especially norse, as your religion you may find enjoyment in the background behind the songs. Some of the songs are memorable, such as Wodan Heerst, and have good or unique composition elements, others just feel too generic to bear any real mention. One thing that really works in this albums favor is the contrast between the beautiful harmonics of complete chords sung in Danish (any germanic language tends to have beautiful sung complete chords in my opinion) against the harsh yells and gutturals of the spoken parts. As long as you know what you're getting into you will probably enjoy the album, but it isn't for everyone and the appeal is probably pretty narrow.

Very good. Some of the best rock seems to come from this general area of Europe and this band is no exception.
