Q: Are the 24 in. stakes green or brown? The reading description says green, but the basic specs says brown?

They are green. This was a good buy for me.

Q: Do these get hot in the sun?

I used these for the first time last summer (2022). Most of the support stake was covered by foliage. I didn't notice the stakes being hot when handling them, but I do wear cloth gardening gloves.

Q: Is there assembly required?

No assembly required, you can hook two of the half circle supports together to form a full circle plant support. Easy. I’m going to buy more.

Q: Are these as durable as the Jardin supports from gardeners supply?

I have not used Jordin, but these keep my plants upright all season long.
