Fawlty Towers - A Touch of Class/The Builders/The Wedding Party/The Hotel Inspectors [DVD]

John Cleese is a comedic genius and has only improved since his Monty Python days. His supporting cast is perfect as are all the storylines in this dvd. Cleese's interactions with Manuel put me into hysterics. I've not seen a 'bad' Fawlty Towers, yet! The dvd arrived in good time, picture and sound were very good and we'll play this disc any time we need to lift ourselves out of the doldrums.

If you enjoy laughing....THIS is the series to watch! My whole family loves it! So sad that PBS does not show these funny series anymore on their broadcasts. That is why I have the DVD's!

I had the other 2 dvds and was in need of this one- so glad I was able to find the one that matches my set. It's John Cleese, so you know it's a riot ;)

Faulty towers is a great example of dry British humor that never grows old! The situational irony is hysterical.

I LOVE Fawlty Towers! Was so happy to be able to purchase a few episodes. Unfortunately, the dvd I purchased only has the first two episodes!! The Hotel Inspectors portion was just black & blank. Wasn’t going to bother to complain…..but, since you asked! Luckily, this has never happened before.

yes, these shows are excellent. i can't recommend them enough - so i won't. my quibble has to do with the director's commentary. the director's voice comes across as a phlegmy, watery sound effect. then there's the puntuating of long silences with the sluuurping of whatever he's drinking. i have to admit it was funny for 5 minutes, but i then became nauseous and had to turn it off. the shows are worth the price of admission without the director's commentary.

It is a hilarious way to spend a few hours. The Wedding Party shows a rare sexual frustration among the characters.

This is a classic British sitcom and a must have for any John Cleese fan! I recieved my order in less than 2 weeks (in time for Christmas) and am very pleased!

I didn’t like how long it took to deliver but other than that it was great
