From the manufacturer HOW TO APPLY? Ensure surfaces are clean sound, dust free and dry before application. Remove outer packaging from roll. Place roll on the floor facing the direction it is to be applied and unwind. Ensure the roll is stuck by smoothing out by either hand or foot. Simply push roll forward using hands or feet ensuring roll goes in a straight line. Carefully cut with a sharp knife or scissors, take care not to damage or scratch the covered surface. Sika is your best ally!

Review: Love this stuff. Much better than other brands - Used this stuff to protect carpets from grubby feet while moving house, from paint when decorating, and used for keeping cables tidy and safe. This last use case needs explanation- when I’m doing PA work, we frequently need to run cables across the floor. This creates a trip hazard. Covering the cables will this stuff makes them stand out (it’s yellow!) sticks them to the floor and keeps them in place, making them so much safer and removing the trip hazard. This is 100% better than duct tape, and while the tack isn’t huge, it’s more than enough to keep it in place, and doesn’t rip off paint or plaster when removed. This specific brand has better’stick’ than others own brands, which in my experience tend to lift away from carpet with any kind of pile to them. I buy the big rolls, simply because it’s so useful. It’s about 3ft wide, and length is determined by the roll size.

**Q: what Thickness (gsm) is the material? how easy does it tear when walked on?**
A: I cannot praise this product enough, used when having bathroom renewed on the landing and stairs, brilliant, and it saved me so much cleaning after the job was completed. Thought it might be slippy on the stairs, but it was great.

**Q: Is this claw/scratch proof? Could it be used to protect the carpet from scratching pets?**
A: Not what’s it intended for. This is plastic and will easily be punctured by claws. It’s great for protecting carpets while decorating especially on stairs. Left it down for 3 weeks while replacing bathroom and carpet was spotless and unmarked when we removed it. For protection against pets you need a proper carpet protector!

**Q: Would this stick to wooden flooring?**
A: It's designed, I think, specifically for carpets. I would think it would stick to a clean, dust free wooden floor ok but depending on the surface of the floor, it might do damage when removed. I had a stained and varnished start of some stairs which it pulled some surface off. It was great for carpet. If a good strong surface, I'm sure it would be ok to use but I think I'd test a small area first.

Absolutely blown away with this stuff. It's not cheap but FAR CHEAPER then replacing carpets or carpet washing. Sticks really well and is thick and strong. Withheld a ladder being moved around on It and me and I'm no slim chicken. Top tip: Push it right under the edges If you can and then use a frog tape onto of edges to get a lovely clean line. Done my stairs and sensory space with it. Carpet has not 1 mark ! Even the edges are paint free at the skirts . I'm definitely buying more to use on other rooms . Used 1 roll on stairs hall landing and back room 12ftx12ft. Still some on the roll
