Very good quality fixture but...
...the screws are too malleable in hardwood and break easily

Escutcheon is ok - throw away the screws
The main hardware looks ok - but will it lastBe prepared to junk the screws, they are too soft and the head too big for the countersink - so the cover catches on the screw and why with retro fittings a pozidrive / phillips head ?

Not Functional
Bought a pair of these for either side of a door they are a good weight and look okay. Unfortunately the pair I received, and this more than likely applies to them all, didn’t work as they should have. This is because the countersink for the retaining screws is not deep enough for the screw to sit flush with the face that the swing cover slides over. This means that the swing cover hits the proud edge of the screw and won’t close. If you force the cover to close it won’t open again as the inside face is hollowed out and the inside edge catches against the screw head again. You can modify them as I did rather than return them if you have a workshop and a variety of power tools.
