Received today - great!Plugged it into my Roberts RD-50 (as listed as being compatible in seller's Amazon listing title) - not so great...Smoke shot out of the radio - it turns out that the polarity on the supplied power supply was *REVERSED.*The RD-50 radio requires a supply that is centre-negative, the supply I received was centre-positive.Exit stage-right, one previously working radio.Amazon's statement -"I do understand your situation.Amazon will not be responsible for (i) losses that were not caused by any breach on our part, or (ii) any business loss (including loss of profits, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or wasted expenditure), or (iii) any indirect or consequential losses that were not foreseeable to both you and us when you commenced using the Amazon Services."So there you go -As always folks when buying from Amazon: Caveat EmptorAmazon will not take *ANY* responsibility for damage caused by a faulty or miss-sold product.

This power supply was bought to replace one that failed for use with the Roberts "Vintage" DAB radio.It works well.It is rated at 7.5V, 1A output (the Vintage only draws 0.8A maximum) so it should run cool.The cable between power socket and the supply is a standard radio 2 pin and the cable to the radio seems sturdy.Pleased so far.

My wife likes Roberts DAB radios and has 3 of them. They are pretty good, but there is a problem with the chargers. They all have the same plug but some are 7V centre negative and others are 7.5V centre positive like this one. Both of these died after not much use, but this unit is an effective and hopefully reliable replacement. I will update if it isn't.

Radio rated with a FLC 850ma, this thing is 400ma. PSU doesn't get hot. Radio works without any problems., but I would have expected an 850ma model if it was a direct replacement. I certainly would not operate un-attended.

I bought this for my Roberts radio and it works perfectly. I like the fact you can change the plug so you can use it abroad. Quick delivery and well packaged. Overall, really happy. Would highly recommend.

Satisfactory replacement for Roberts Radio ecologic 6 PSU. Works fine, no problems, reasonable price.

Replacement for the original adapter which had very flimsy wire. Far more substantial than the original, and the lead is longer. The actual adapter is separate from the plug, and as such there is no stress on the joint with the plug - well impressed.

Really happy with my radio. Delivered quickly and well packed.Only one niggle though. It wasn't clearly informed that the electric lead was included with the radio and I sent for the replacement lead at the same time as the radio. But no worrys, I just sent it back through the usual channels.
