Used to repair a cat scratch post ,bit fiddly to put on and burnt my fingers few times using hot glue gun ,you have to glue a bit at a time and keep pushing the rope down to close gaps and holding in place while glue sets . overall happy with the rope , bear in mind you need more than you think , i wish id bought two as i only had enough to repair the worst damaged cat scratched area . Will use again
