Excellent Bluetooth speaker, JBL has always made excellent products, this model, the pulse 5 has excellent sound quality and a great light show, this isn’t a cheap made a China product, it’s made in Japan. I downloaded the JBL app, it’s great, you can control the light show in many ways, and it also has an equalizer. This is the best Bluetooth speaker I have ever owned except for Ultimate Ears, the difference is the amazing controllable light show.

This was an open "Like New" item and it did not disappoint! Everything works like it's brand new, connects to my phone right away and absolutely cool light show with this JBL Speaker. A little underpowered from its bigger JBL brothers but makes for a cool light show at night. Long lasting battery and charges really fast; Easy buttons that you cannot miss and easy bluetooth connectivity; All around a great niche speaker with great sound and cool light effects. Will not be disappointed!

Great sounding speaker. The battery life could be better as it seems to only last 3 or so hours before needing a charge. Overall the light effect look great. If you are able to get this item on sale then I would recommend. The setup is easy as well.

We love these speakers. We bought 2 for our YA boys. They are the perfect gifts! The sound is amazing. The lights are fun. Easy to pair. Easy to borrow when the boys are away!

The sound of this JBL speaker is phenomenal.The visuals are awesome too. It's thick tempered glass gives it a Heavy Duty look and feel.... I wished JBL included the volume from the speaker... To change the Volume you have to find the device it's Bluetoothed with.Also there is no Aux. Input... But Will function just fine while it's charging... I get the feeling that this speaker is going to last a long time okay.

We have a couple of these for ourselves and have also given them as gifts. They sound great, have a fun light show, and seem very well made. We have other portable blue tooth speakers, but all we use these days are our JBLs. I bought these originally to use on our porch when the weather is nice, but we used them inside a good bit recently while entertaining over the holidays. We are fans of JBL at this point!

The JBL pulse 5 is a great speaker for your dorm room or your average bedroom for indoor use this speaker has a dual upwards firing driver and a dual Tweeter stacked on top which helps it sound more open I will say it does sound a little bright on the highs so they can't sound a little harsh but the light feature has been expanded to the passive radiator which is on the bottom that has a light ring around it so it gives it like a floor effect overall the speaker is great and has a lot more lighting modes to choose from and you can't go wrong with the pulse five if you're looking for a speaker for your dorm room or to use indoors at night the pulse 5 is the way to go
