I used this product to cover an old white dishwasher. All the other appliances in my kitchen are stainless steel. It was easy to put on and trim and it looks much better. My only disappointment was that it does not really match the color of the other stainless steel in the kitchen it is much lighter, more of a silver and to match perfectly I would need something darker with a darker grey color.

I have a dog who loves plastic milk jugs and water bottles. In his excitement to get the containers, which we placed on the counter above the dishwasher, he scratched my new stainless steel dishwasher! I was horrified and figured that was it, nothing I could do now..As I was cleaning, I realized I hadn’t removed the plastic film that protects the dishwasher while shipping, which saved my dishwasher from the scratches. Yeah!! So, as I began to remove the film and the scratches imbedded in the film, I stopped and immediately went on Amazon to see if there was anything I could put on the door to protect it from the beast in the future! To my surprise I found this magnetic cover and ordered it immediately. It arrived quickly but I was going to wait till the next day to install, just in case it took a while. I decided to go ahead and get started.. it was extremely easy to install.. just needed to a pair of household scissors to trim a couple inches off the end to make the length fit. Once trimmed, all I had to do was stick it on..a couple of re-adjustments to make sure it was even, but that was it. Project complete and I am thrilled!Would definitely recommend, just make sure that your dishwasher is magnetic…which I did before I ordered.

It’s so great after we got same great advise here! Did not stick right out of the box. Laid it out flat for a bit then it went right on! Had some friends over and they thought we got a new dishwasher when we got our stove and fridge. They were shocked when I told them it was a magnet!! So it will tide us over until we can get a new dishwasher to match our other appliances. Our before and after - ours was an off white now it matched our black appliances for now!

The magnet is nice and thick with a stainless steel looking coating. However, none of these fit the width of the door of a standard dishwasher. They slide off, too. So purpose defeated. Wish I’d tried it out before return period expired.

I was planning on buying a whole new dishwasher but l found this product and gave it a try. All l can say is that it saved me money and upgraded the look on my dishwasher. It looks awesome on it and very easy to install.

The stainless look is good but darker than anything else in my kitchen. It's just okay.

It really doesn’t look like stainless steel. It looks more like a painted surface.

This is a great product. Got this for the dishwasher and it sticks well and gave the appliance a beautiful facelift.
