Solid, well made
Best grip strength trainer, this is a decent step up from the trainer model, would definitely recommend that first, good to be able to see the progression

Finally some decent grippers, I have had numerous ones that I have never had a problem closing. I can not close these ones.....yet.

Great Product
Having relatively strong grip i decided to start on the point 5, closed this for reps. Bought the 1 and closed it 4th time i tried. After a couple of weeks training on the 1 decided to try the 1.5, much to my surprise i closed this the first time i picked it up. Have just ordered the 2 and the trainer (for girlfriend). These grippers are fantastic for progressing in grip strength, highly recommend and very rewarding when you can clearly see the progress you are making. Only bit of advice i would give is to start low and build up, don't go crazy and buy beyond your grip as you will be shut down fast.

Excellent quality - gotta crush ‘em all!
Speedy delivery & packaged just fine - especially good that they can be posted through the letterbox.I’ve had all sorts of different grippers over the past couple of decades, almost all pretty cheap & very, very easy to close repeatedly. A couple of years ago I bought a ‘heavy grip’ that was a cheap imitation of the Captains of Crush. It was apparently rated at 200lbs, which I couldn’t quite close fully, so I was looking to find something to help build up to it.I must admit that I was drawn to the CoC grippers via some YouTube videos where they were testing folks grip strength (Jujimufu, Brian Shaw, Brian Alsruhe...) & decided to go for the CoC #1, since I figured I was already close to getting 200lbs, so 140lbs should be easy...Guess again.Well, I still loved the quality of this gripper, so almost immediately ordered the Trainer, to give me a lighter weight to warm up with.Pleased that I could then close that (100lbs), but decided to round things out by also ordering the Guide (60lbs), as my wife & kids were also now interested in getting their grip stronger, but they could hardly budge any of the heavier grippers. The lightest two were a bit squeaky, but that was soon remedied with some 3-in-1 oil application. We’ve also now got some really light squishers & finger bands for extensions tooOverall, we’d definitely recommend the CoC family of grippers.

High quality product, if anything bit overpriced
4/5 based on price. I think it's overpriced considered what you're getting; quality is great. I bought a 2 as I thought that'd be a good average goal, starting point... However I can only get it 2/3rds closed. That's alright, something to aim for.Since this I've bought a 1.5 and again that's tough to close. My two pieces of advice are; 1. Use some WD40 on spring to stop squeek that developes. And 2. Warm up before using, just bend fingers against table/ wall close and open hands a few times. You have to put into your head the mindset of its a heavy load.Personally I'd try another brand, or at least a lighter load to start with. But overall it's a good product

Read All The Reviews Before Buying!
There are some very helpful reviews on here that helped me decide which gripper to purchase. I've played with the blue and green Ironmind egg on and off for about a year. I picked them up the other day, for the first time in several months and decided (on a whim) to buy the #1 gripper.I train with weights and think I have a pretty good grip. On arrival day I did a couple of warm up sets of 12 reps on the green egg, opened up the gripper and got to it. I clicked it closed 5 times with my right hand and 4 times with my left. I was surprised at how pronounced the difference was in my grip. My right felt much stronger - hardly surprising as I'm right handed but the gripper really drives the point home. There is no such feedback from squeezing the Ironmind eggs.As Ironmind say, most men who lift weights cannot close this gripper initially. I can see this being true.I'm sure I'll progress using the egg and gripper combination but I urge people to not bite off more than they can chew. Unless you're a panel beater or work your grip hard already, the #1 gripper is IMO, a stern starting point. As other reviewers have said the build quality is top notch and my ONLY regret is that I didn't buy one of these things years ago!
