ArmaLaser TR15, Perfect fit
I own a S&W .40 cal. Automatic, model# SW40VE. Before I bought the ArmaLaser TR15, I bought a generic, one size fits all, laser about 10years ago and it was still mounted and working when I made the recent TR15 purchase. The old laser had a momentary On/Off switch cable that ran to the gun’s grip on the thumb side, (I’m a right-handed shooter). This gave me the ability to make some comparisons. The ArmaLaser TR15 cost about 4 times as much as my previous laser sight, but I can say right now that it was well worth it!First, the TR15 is a perfect fit for the SW40VE and it is far lighter than the one I had, (different brand but I can’t recall the name). The ArmaLaser manual is crystal clear. It’s also short because the laser is so easy to mount to the gun that you’d almost think you had to be doing something wrong! LOL.The laser housing is molded in such a way that requires it to flex in order to fit around the trigger guard. The two housing halves essentially flex open to fit into position and then snuggly snap together.ArmaLaser includes a Philips screwdriver, two hex wrenches, (one is an extra), Two locking screws, (to screw the two housing halves together), A battery, battery-case cover, and two battery-case cover screws, (one extra).Follow the instructions EXACTLY as they’re stepped through in the manual and you’ll have the laser mounted in less than 5 minutes. The laser sight is dialed in very close to where it needs to be at the factory. The Red laser light is clearly visible at night and in most daylight conditions, but I wish ArmaLaser made a laser sight for the SW40VE that had a Green Laser. That was the color laser I wanted when I started out searching for a laser sight. The Green lasers have a longer range and can be seen easier on days when the sun is bright. When I mounted my TR15, I was surprised that it was almost perfectly sighted in. Of course, that’s a preliminary setting and I’ll need to make adjustments when I do some live firing tomorrow.I did make a slight windage and elevation adjustment after installing it and ArmaLaser designed the adjusters so that there are only two setscrews. For elevation or windage corrections, the designated screw is turned CW or CCW. The screws don’t turn easily, which is definitely a ‘good thing’.The sight’s accuracy didn’t change after I repeatedly placed and/or removed the gun from the holster. It isn’t susceptible to vibrations like my old laser was. Most guns that have an after-market laser attached require a wider holster. However, the holster I had was not designed to take a gun with an add-on laser sight. If you look at the picture I attached, you’ll see how well it fits in a standard holster. The TR15 is as compact as a built-in laser sight and it fit in my standard holster without hanging on anything going in or coming out. My previous laser wouldn’t fit at all and required a different holster. In addition, every time I holstered my gun with the previous laser, I had to be very careful taking it out because it would move the laser’s position. The TR15 is miles ahead of the old laser in every way!Keep in mind that the adjustment screws on the TR15 only need to be turned a fraction in order to get the laser to move. In fact, if you must turn the screw more than ¼ turn, I’d say that you need to go back and double check if you’ve mounted the housing correctly or if you ordered a laser for the wrong gun.I almost did that myself. For instance, the S&W SD40VE is very similar to the SW40VE. However, the SD40VE has some distinct differences. When I was shopping for a laser, I came upon the ArmaLaser model designed for the SD40VE. I asked some people if it would fit the SW40VE and they said it would. Then one of the ArmaLaser representatives saved the day and told me that I needed to order the TR15 for the SW40VE. So, be sure to buy the laser sight that’s made explicitly for the model you own.ArmaLaser makes a lot of different models and they likely have one for your model handgun. My previous laser was much heavier that the TR15 and it had the extended cable, which I prefer over the ‘touch’ system ArmaLaser has on the TR15.The ArmaLaser company includes a product catalog with the TR15 laser sight and I found that they DO have their own version of an On/Off extension! I plan to buy one of those and they even sell quality-grade holsters.Their entire product line is included in the catalog and they’re still adding to it. I gave the TR15 5 Stars and would’ve have given it more if that was an option.I’m not offering the name of the extended cable because Amazon has been rejecting my review on this product several times. I can only guess that it’s because I’m naming some of the other ArmaLaser products, (but I don’t know because their reason is too vague). If you’re not sure, contact them. (I removed Armalaser’s contact info for the same reason I mentioned above).I strongly recommend this product to anyone who has need for a laser site. Just be sure to get the ArmaLaser sight designed explicitly for your hand gun!Rich

S&W Sigma Laser
Perfect. Almost pre-aligned out of the box. This gun really needs the laser and this works perfect. I only wish it has a switch instead of using continuity from your skin to turn it on and off. It says it uses your thumb but it really uses your middle finger when it's under the trigger guard. I do recommend this item.

Happy Birthday Son
I bought this for my son for his birthday. Oh my goodness he was so excited that I got him this, which inspired him to get his sites. Now that it's all calibrated he is ready to go out and see how accurate it all is.So thank you for selling something that can put excitement and smile on a young man's face.

well worth the price!
Awesome laser!!!!!! Shipping was fast. Installation was fast and easy. Vary easy to sight in. Stot over 100 rounds with it and the laser was (still is) dead on. Vary happy with it. The touch sensitive feature works great as well. Pull the gun out of the holsters and the laser is already on. If you have a Sigma you need this laser.

DOES NOT FIT S&W SD9VE USE THE GTO/FLX FOR SD9VE
I love the design but do not believe reviewer who said this will work with S&W SD9VE. IT DOES NOT FIT PROPERLY. While I was able to 'make it fit', I was also able to move the laser back and forth while attached to the SD9. And we all know a 'little movement at the barrel means a Lot of movement for the projectile. I wouldn't trust this fitment in a life threatening situation. Use the GTO/FLX for the SD9VE. Very secure fitment.

Best upgrade I've done to my Sigma!
I didn't know what to expect when purchasing this. There were cheaper ones that I was ready to buy based solely of the fact of saving some money and that this one didn't have many reviews to go off of. This laser is worth the extra money! The fitment is amazing. Color match like the other review says is spot on. It looks like it came with it. Haven't had a chance to get any good practice in to try and sight it yet. But I'm completely happy with the purchase.
