The Avengers Assembled: The Origin Story of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes

Very digestible. A great way to understand the true comic origins of some of Marvel’s greatest characters.

I enjoyed reading this telling of the history of The Avengers in the form of a biography. However, I wish that it included when other heroes like Spider-Man, Wolverine, Storm, Luke Cage and others joined. In the comics, there is a gap between the events of the Kree/Skrull War and the forming of the All New, All Different Avengers where the characters I mentioned joined. So, while it’s a good read, there’s also some history missing from this.
